Getting By

April 26, 2017

National Volunteer Week is April 23-29

Our office would like to thank all the parents, grandparents, family and community members who currently volunteer or have previously volunteered with the Chouteau County 4-H youth development program. The skills and knowledge gained through the hands-on experiences that you present and help the 4-H members with will last them a lifetime.

Past, present and future volunteers—know that you have contributed or will contribute to the foundation of lifelong success of many 4-H members. 4-H members—take a moment, reflect on who the volunteers were or are that have influenced your life. If you are like me, there is not just one. There are many volunteers who I owe much gratitude towards. This week is the perfect time to let them know. Let them know they made a difference in your life—it will make a difference in their life knowing it. When President Bush start the Points of Life movement, he said “From now on in America, any definition of a successful life must include service to others.”

Keep up to date on what is happening in Chouteau County Extension and 4-H, follow us on Facebook.
