The Big Sandy Pioneer varsity football team chalked up another win, taking down the Heart Butte Warriors Saturday afternoon with a lopsided 56-19 win.

The Pioneers doubled up the Warriors in the opening stanza, leading 14-7. They extended the lead to 34-13 by halftime and put the contest to bed in the third taking a 50-13 lead into the fourth before securing the 56-19 win.

Big Sandy played their first game of the season at home but the last three have all been road trips. The Pioneers faired well on the recent trips and will take a 3-1 record into a North C Six Man football clash with the undefeated Sunburst Refiners.

After their heavyweight bout with the Refiners the Boys will turn their attention to the annual Chili Feed which will conclude with the Pioneers taking on the rival North Star Knights
