SHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! The Easter Bunny is coming to Big Sandy Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The Easter Bunny has been coming to Big Sandy for over 50 years. This year the Easter Bunny will hold a TRUNK AND HUNT on main street in front of City Hall. The Easter Bunny has tried to think of various ways to remove the snow around the Big Sandy Airport to accommodate the bunny’s hiding places for special prizes and candy. This year it does not look like Mother Nature will help the Easter Bunny with snow removal.

When all the children arrive they will be divided into 5 age groups from infant through 5th grade. Once the children are in their respective groups they will be directed to a spot to receive their prizes and candy from the Easter Bunny.

The Big Sandy Swim Team will also be doing their annual BBQ fund raiser on March 31 at the same time. The Swim Team will be selling a delicious BBQ lunch at the Big Sandy City Hall to provide a nourishing meal to go along with all the candy the Easter Bunny will be handing out.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Big Sandy Rotary Club. The labor and effort in putting on the event each year is done by your local Rotarians with the funding for the candy and prizes coming from the money the Rotary Club makes at its Annual Benefit Banquet each year.
