The Big Sandy Swim Team dominated the pool at the Shelby swim meet, scoring 803 points to grab first place in team scoring and earned their first trophy of the season. Four Barracudas brought home high point honors: Jenna Leader swept the girls senior division, winning all three of her races. Kade Strutz and Brady Pleninger tied for senior boys high point with six combined wins between the two swimmers. Cam Schwarzbach won high point by winning all three of his freestyle races in the 13-14 boys division. In the 8-under division, Harley LaBuda placed 2nd and Astrid Ketchum placed 3rd in overall points. Daisy LaBuda placed 3rd in the girls 11-12 division and Dillin Geyer placed 2nd in the boys 13-14 division.

The Barracudas compete next in Chester on June 23-24.
