The East Fork Fire remains at 85% containment this evening and 21,896 acres. More accurate mapping resulted in the total acreage change. Crews continue to make good progress with containment efforts today. Minimal fire activity has been observed today. Containment lines have been holding today in spite of the red flag conditions which remain in the forecast for tomorrow as well. Rehabilitation of dozer lines will continue over the next several days. Suppression efforts will focus on areas of concern.

The weather is forecast to turn to a cooler, wetter weather pattern which we are all hopeful materializes.
