Cheeseburgers! North Central CattleWomen visit Big Sandy Schools

June 6, 2018

North Central Montana CattleWomen visited several classrooms in the community during the school year. The Perfect Cheeseburger is a hands-on program using a "giant" fabric cheeseburger, which the children help assemble as they discuss the nutrients available in the burger from each of the five food groups. The program keeps youth informed of the vital importance agriculture is to each of us. CattleWomen presenters in Mrs. Moore's Big Sandy 3rd grade classroom were Paulette Keller and Carolyn Terry. The Beef Checkoff Program helps finance "Beef" booklets and other materials for students.
