The Senior Center now has a Facebook page, they post the days menu and the soup of the day. Please check it out and like the page.

Menus for the week:

Thursday, July 19- Chicken and Potato Casserole, broccoli, Chickpea salad, and pudding.

Friday, July 20- Mac n Cheese, Cheddar dog wraps, peas, & carrots, cucumber salad, peanut butter cookies.

Monday, July 23- BBQ Meatballs with potatoes, green beans, cottage cheese, and Red Velvet chip cookies.

Tuesday, July 24- HArd Shell Fish Tacos, and Caramel Apple salad.

Wednesday, July 25- Chicken Club Casserole, veggie tray, and Apple Crisp.

Recipe for the week: Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Ingredients

• 6 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

• 1 (12 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce

• 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

• Add all ingredients to list

Directions

1. Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, Italian salad dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the chicken.


2. Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.
