The Big Sandy Mountaineer -

The Big Sandy Swim Team competed with a full team in their last regular season meet for the summer in Fort Benton this last weekend, scoring 876 points to take home a second place trophy. The Bitterroot Swim Team scored 1343 points to take first and Columbia Falls scored 565 points to place third.

Brady Pleninger dominated the senior boys division, scoring 42 points to earn high point honors. Kade Strutz had another strong showing by adding 40 points of his own to place second. Cam Schwarzbach tied with Tristan Gibson from Fairfield for high point honors in the 13-14 boys division by each scoring 40 points. Dillin Geyer placed third with his 36 points. Daisy LaBuda was the dominant swimmer on the girls' side, scoring 36 points to place third in the 11-12 girls division.
