Cultural Center looking for Artists

August 8, 2018

The Cultural Center is having art workshops now before the beginning of school. Generous friends of the program have donated funds to give an award of $5.00 to each person age 8 through adult who will spend an hour or so creating some artwork. Talent is optional, the only requirement is to have fun creating. The Maximum number of participants is 40. Parents/adults are especially encouraged to get involved. The first 10 elementary students will receive a $5 gift certificate for a children’s menu meal at Fuddrucker’s of Great Falls.

In addition, the first 10 junior high or high school students participating will receive a $5 gift certificate from Howard’s Pizza in Great Falls. The Center will also pay 5 high school students who create sections of the Center’s mural project $25 each to paint a 2 x 4 foot portion of the mural. All art materials supplied.

To accommodate summer schedules, the Cultural Center will be open weekdays from10:30 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on weekends from 1 p.m. to 4p.m. Other times can be arrangement.
