The Big Sandy Pioneer Volleyball team had a busy week on the court with a match against the Chinook Sugarbeeters on Thursday and then two days of tournament play at the Cascade Badger Invitational.

The Sugarbeeters came out on top 3-0 in the District 6C-East opener for both teams.

Chinook took the opening set 25-13 the second set 25-15 and closed out the Pioneers with a 25-16 third set win.

Senior Jaylyn Cline led the Pioneer attack with four kills in the match. Junior Lainey Gregory added three assists and senior Georgia Wortman led the team with six digs and two blocks.
