Big Sandy 7th Grader, Reinhard Bold is a U.S.A. AAU All-American Award winner

Reinhard Bold has been wrestling since kindergarten. This year he is in the seventh grade. That means he has already committed 8 years to his sport. This year he won the Montana State AAU wrestling in the 125-pound weight class.

This allowed him to travel to Des Moines Iowa to wrestle in the U.S.A AAU National Middle School Tournament. He was given an All-American award for winning five matches out of eight. He traveled with Team Montana out of Havre. There were three teams each with 22 wrestlers.

In total, there was 66 wrestlers from Montana. He only remembers two small schools being represented--Big Sandy and Cut Bank. Sincerely impressed, I mentioned how good he must be and he responded, "I'm OK I guess." This is a young Pioneer wrestler we will continue to hear about for years to come.

Tucker Taylor, Big Sandy Pioneer Wrestling Coach says, "It is really a great accomplishment. I'm not surprised because he works so hard for me. He is always trying to get the best practices. He is defiantly self-motivated. For him the sky is the limit for what he wants in the sport."
