City Wide Garage Sale The city-wide garage sale is a go! A few more hoops to jump through this year, but there are still 22 individual garage sale sites in the town this Saturday June 20. The sale starts at 8:00 in the morning and goes to 3:00 in the afternoon, if everything isn’t sold out by then.

As in years past the Senior citizen center will be selling tacos in a bag as a fund raiser for the Big Sandy Barracuda’s swim team.

A map is being printed but with last minute adds to the list it wasn’t available at the Mountaineer before print time. However here is a list of the address so you can get an early start to the day: 81 McNamera Ave, 330 McNamera Ave, 270 4th Ave. North, 667 3rd Street, Museum lot, 473 3rd Ave, 159 Johannes, 275 Montana Ave W, The front of the Mountaineer, 459 2 Ave, 371 Lincoln Ave, 444 Michigan Ave, 138 Michigan, 98 Judith Landing, 822 2nd St, 353 Johannes, 354 Illinois, 252 Montana Ave W., 128 Jefferson, 159 Lefeldt, and 226 2nd Ave. In other words travel the streets of Big Sandy and there will probably be a sale somewhere along that street.

Keely Bahnmiller was once again the organizer of this event and she had to do way for leg work to make sure it was within the guidelines of social events. It is a wonderful contribution that she makes to our community. Thank you Keely for your efforts on behave of so many.
