"Getting candy!" (When asked about his favorite part of halloween) Suckers! (In reply to what is his favorite candy.) -Bodie Sura

"He sings this really cute song about peanut butter and jelly. He's sung it ever since we started dating and so I decided this year we were going to be peanut butter and jelly because it matches our personalities... It feels like it's so wholesome and good because everybody is so friendly and a big family. (When asked about their favorite part of halloween in Big Sandy.)" -The Overbay Family

"Allyssa loves to trick or treat with Jai and now this year she wants to try to go by herself." - Annie Baumann

"I am dressed up as Doc Brown from Back to the Future... Last year I was Marty McFly from Back to the Future... Because it is the best movie ever. I guess candy is my favorite part of trick-or-treating. There's not really much else to trick-or-treating." - Colter Han

"I think it's a great idea. I don't know how you would do it if it was 10 above and snow on the ground. But it saves having to get in and out of the car all the way around town. Kids hate having to do that. Mothers hate to do that..." "Tonight is more. We usually get 80 or 100 at home. We've gone through at least 120 bags of candy.

We made them up and now we're running out." "The best costume we've seen so far is the big dinosaur that was going to eat me..." We've seen a lot of Woody and toy story characters..." "We saw the fruit of the loom characters. I did that 40 years ago when I was bowling. The whole team dressed up as them." -Courtnage group

It's been fantastic. This is one of the best turnouts since we've done it. This to me is the way to go. We've had a lot of kids and parents talking about how this is the way to go... We've seen a lot more people than we used to get at the house. Not only from here. We've seen a lot of people coming in just because we are doing it this way. I actually had one parent say that when they were younger it was ok, but now they're really concerned about going house to house. With this, they love it for the kids and for the safety sake." -Grants

"I like it because it's a great community thing. It's nice to have multiple people in one spot... The best costume I've seen so far is Chewbacca. A lot of blood sweat and tears went into that costume. (In reference to her daughter's home made costume)" Samantha Weaver

"I love trunk-or-treat because our whole community comes together. I love that. I have not handed out candy, I've only brought my kids to it. We still go around town to, but I think it's a good way to end our night..." Heather Woolery

"It was packed! I think there for a little while, I was looking around and thinking 'I haven't seen this many people out in a few years. Last year there was covid, so I think this year definitely beat last year... We definitely had more kids here than at our house in years past. I noticed a lot of people from Box Elder and other little surrounding towns came to. I am super impressed. There was a little house made out of pallets. It was super cute. And Mrs. Chauvet got the little umbrella tent and I think people did some fun things this year. It was super cool. The fire pit really helped because it was a cold night and people would go get warm then they would keep going. Clay Dixon, bless his heart he came in and was our fireman... I saw a lot of people I haven't seen before." -Heather Dillworth
