Menus for the coming week are as follows:

Wednesday, November 8 creamed chicken over biscuits, vegetables, salad and dessert.

Thursday, November 9 patty melt with chips, salad and dessert.

Friday, November 10 Veterans Day Dinner including prime rib, scalloped potatoes, carrots, salad, jello salad, rolls and dessert this meal costs $10.00 and is the Lunch of the Week!

Monday, November 13 goulash, salad, bread and dessert.

Tuesday, November 14 is the Birthday Dinner including barbecued chicken and rice, vegetables, salad, bread and birthday cake for dessert.

This week how about a recipe for a great side dish for your Thanksgiving Dinner?

This is called a Broccoli and Rice Casserole

You will need an onion diced and a couple of celery ribs diced

1 box wild and brown rice mix.

2 cups broccoli chopped up into bite sized pieces

1 cup Cheese Whiz

1 cup water

½ cup water

Saute the broccoli, onion and celery in the butter until soft. Add to mixing bowl. Mix all other ingredients too along with packet of rice mix that comes with the rice mix.


Bake at 350 in an uncovered and greased baking pan for 15 minutes. Then cover and bake another 15 minutes and serve after it cools a tad.
