Meal menus are as follows:

Wednesday, November 29 pineapple pepper chicken with veggies, salad and dessert.

Thursday, November 30 cabbage rolls, salad, dessert or cheeseburger pie for the Lunch of the Week!

Friday, December 1 tomato soup, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and salsa along with a dessert.

Monday, December 4 Shepherd’s Pie with salad and dessert for yet another Lunch of the Week!

Tuesday December 5 Birthday Dinner includes chicken fried steak, hashbrowns and gravy, salad and dessert.

How about a Penne bake with ham and peas.

You will need

3 thin green onions. Sliced thin

½ teaspoon finely chopped garlic

5 tablespoons all purpose four

3 cups milk

2 cups diced ham

2 ½ cups cheddar cheese sliced

Make topping of 1 ½ cups bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons melted butter

To put it together spray a 3 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or put in the oven that is heating to 350 degrees.

In a large saucepan cook penne pasta in boiling, salted water following the package directions.

Drain in a colander and rinse with hot water.

Mix altogether and cook at 350 until bubbly. Add peas at end.
