The Big Sandy boys track team captured second place at the District 9C track meet on May 8th. The team scored a total of 78 points, to edge out the tied 3rd place finishers NorthStar Knights and Chinook Sugarbeeters.

Several of the Pioneers brought home first place finishes. Clint Darlington won the triple jump with a distance of 40'4". Parker Proulx tossed the javelin to a season high finish of 157'11".
