Thursday, January 23- Pork Roast, fried Potatoes, carrots, and Cucumber salad.

Friday, January 24- Patty Melt sandwich, macaroni salald, and dessert.

Monday, January 27- Chicken Alfredo with broccoli, garlic toast, and Sour cream Raisin bars.

Tuesday, January 28- Sloppy Joes, veggies, and Pizza Pasta salad.

Wednesday, January 29- Bourbon Chicken over rice, veggies, coleslaw, and salad.

Blonde Brownies

January 22 is National Blonde Browning Day!

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup butter

2 cups packed light brown sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

Melt butter or margarine. Add sugar and mix well. Cool.

Add eggs and vanilla, blend well. Add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate chips.

Put into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars
