What to do about the Mountaineer? I have been asked several times if I am going to continue to print the newspaper. The short answer is yes, as long as I can financially afford it. The difficulty will be finding stories to write. If you think about it, there shouldn’t and isn’t anything happening in our community. I will be trying to call people and interview them, kind of like what I did in February for Valentine’s day. We must celebrate who we are. However, I need people to agree to be interviewed. Also, as businesses continue to lose revenue, they will need to cut expenses, so ads will become difficult to obtain as this medical crisis continues.

Also, I don’t want to add to the stress of the Big Sandy residence but hopefully will find a way to encourage and support. What I hope would be that when the paper comes out, we will be looking forward to finding ways to continue to live above our circumstances and be supportive of each other.
