January was also when 1st Bank of Montana opened in place of Wells Fargo.
Usually, on the first week of the new year, the Big Sandy Mountaineer covers a brief review of the following year's news. Since I have been involved with the paper for the last two years, we went back and covered all the events the Mountaineer wrote articles over the year. I have decided not to repeat that pattern, as so many of the regular yearly events have been canceled;
Schools went to remote learning, and all sports were canceled, Senior trip canceled, and graduation outside. Homecoming was canceled. And although there was no July 4th celebration the year before, because of COVID, there was no chance to revive it. No Chili feed. No Big Sandy Guild rummage sale. No Christmas stroll.
It is my hope you will enjoy this photographic review of the year 2020.
