The Big Sandy Mountaineer -

The Big Sandy high school class of 2021 had their scholarship awards night at the Big Sandy Highschool Auditorium. Last year there was no awards night presentation and the years before, they had the night at the FE Miley gradeschool after eating pot luck toether. The 2021 class sat on the stage and came forwad to receive their awards and scholarships.

Katherine Bold won numerous scholarships including the Ralph Schwartz, Thora Allderdice, Albert and Mary Bold -Big Sandy Medical Service, Foundation Future Farmer, VFW, Hill county Electric, Reach Higher Montana, Henry Nagamori Ag Scholarship, Mountain View Co-op, Youth Serve Montana, Triangle Communications, George and Penny Ament Creativity, American Legion Post 50, American Legion Government test, Big Sandy Education Foundation Tordik Memorial, and the Big Sandy Medical Service Foundation.

Jozlyn Baumann won the Grace and Max Clawiter, Helen Wetherbee and Rudy Blazek, Elaine Courtnage, Youth Serve Montana, Triangle Communicatins, Big Sandy Education Foundation Tordik Memorial, and the George and Penny Ament Creativity.

Bayley Genereux won the Braekkeflat, Florence and Joship H. Walters Memorial, and Marine Option NROTC.

Cameron Schwarzbach won the FHA, Emma Kulbeck, Future Farmer, Youth Serve Montana, Rotary, American Legion Post 50, and the Big Sandy Education Foundation Tordik Memorial.

Kade Strutz received the Alvin and Judy Kober, Mike Richter Memorial, Shannon Green, Duane Olson Memorial Athletic, American Legion Government test, and Montana STEM.

Alicia Biornestad won the FHA, Grosen Family, Masonic, Youth Serve Montana, Big Sandy Education Foundation Tordik Memorial, Big Sandy Medical Services Foundation, and the Montana STEM.

Madison Terry received the Grosen Family, Richter, Albert and Mary-Big Sandy Medical Service, Rotary, and the Big Sandy Medical Services Foundation.

Lily Winderl won the FHA, Lulu Giebel Memorial, and the George and Penny Ament Creativity.

Parker Proulx recived the Walter Brown Memorial, and the Shannon Green Memorial.

Brady Pleninger won the Sigurrd, Braekkeflat, and the American Legion Government Test.
