Clyde Pegar

July 21, 2021

Clyde was born in Havre, Montana. He was raised on a farm outside of Big Sandy, MT, and graduated from Big Sandy High school. He worked in sales in the building supply industry in California for 32 years, a friend to countless loyal customers and coworkers.

Married in July of 1984 to his wife Shannon (Craig) Pegar, who survives him at home in Sacramento, CA. In addition, he is survived by his sons Victor Pegar and Alex Pegar, daughter Caitlin Pegar, goddaughter Yvette Nameth, sister Victoria Nameth (the late Tom), and brothers Rick Pegar (the late Margie), Duane Pegar (Jackie), Tim Pegar (Barb), and David Pegar (Nancy). And by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by son Dustin Pegar, father Victor Pegar, mother Rosina Pegar, and brother Ralph Pegar.

Clyde loved to tell a joke, good or bad, read any genre of books, and watch all kinds of “cheezy” TV shows and movies. He loved music and singing. His favorite reminder to us, “read the directions.” The most important things to him were his family and friends. He always told us he loved us, every chance he got.

A Memorial Service will be held at W.F. Gormley & Sons Chapel on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:00pm.
