Chouteau County Performing Arts Is Back

August 25, 2021

After a year of a silent stage, Chouteau County Performing Arts is back with an 8-show season, full of a wide variety of artists, to entertain and delight you. We are looking forward to seeing familiar and new faces throughout our season, where this year's theme is "Music Heals the Soul" after a long, difficult year and a half. Season tickets are on sale right now, at Early Bird prices and can be purchased from any CCPA board member. The Early Bird price is still $45, and will be honored up to, and including the first show on September 1st, when we present Here Comes the Sun Band, playing music of The Beatles. Both single entry and season tickets will be available that evening with the show starting at 7PM at the Fort Benton Elementary School Auditorium.

This show is sponsored in a partnership with The Governor's Keep and Benton Pharmacy. The piano tuning sponsor for this and any shows involving our piano is Max Ag. Of Montana. Please thank these sponsors for there generous donations that make these shows possible.

The five extraordinary vocalists and multi-instrumentalists, who make up Here Comes The Sun Band, love to recreate the fun and excitement of the greatest rock and roll band of the 60s and 70s. This band of college friends formed in North Carolina at The Flat Rock Playhouse. After many years of performing together they decided to take it to the next level, and go on the road. Audiences love the fresh new take on the music, while keeping the integrity of the "Fab Four". Playing the popular hits and the "B-sides" from Broadway, Lincoln Center, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, these performers combine their unique talents to create a fresh and vibrant concert experience.

Band members include Paul Babelay from north Texas, on drums and Eric Anthony, from St. Louis on guitar and bass. Dustin Brayley, originally from Virginia, now makes Montana his home, and is a guitarist and vocalist. Multi-instrumentalists Ryan Dunn hails from the New York, Jersey Shores area and Ryan Guerra grew up in Texas.
