Mayor Shaud Schwarzbach informed the Mountaineer that the mainstreet construction would start on May 9th. It will begin at the Bakery and go down that side of the street to the Catholic Church before it returns down the other side of the street. One side of the street will always be open to traffic throughout the project. It will probably prevent any main street parking, however.

They will have weekly construction meetings, so we will be able to give updates weekly. They should be done in early July.

Also, the entire new wording for the 'Community Decay Ordinance is posted on the city office window. The second reading will be at the next general City Council meeting.
