What's Happening With Chouteau County Cancer Support Group

Fort Benton Women’s Club sold daffodils with proceeds going to the Cancer Support Group. If you missed out on ordering daffodils earlier, you can purchase some at the Rivers Edge Greenhouse & Floral. Yes, they have some extra. Don’t wait, they may run out.

The annual Dart Tournament sponsored by the Pastime Bar is March 25. We appreciate the generosity of Natasha Nash and all that work to put on this event each year and sharing the proceeds with us.

If you haven’t had a health check up in the past year now is good time to schedule an appointment. It is important to have annual checkups even if you feel healthy. Your provider can review your medical and family history, and based on that, along with your age, determine what tests, screenings and vaccines that might be right for you. Blood and urine tests can confirm your healthy state. If some health issues is found, it is always good to find it earlier than later.

Upcoming events:

April 17 at Wake Cup we will have a no host luncheon. Information will be provided on free support services for those treating cancer.

May 20 we join with the local Garden Club for the annual plant exchange on the levee. The proceeds from this event go to the Cancer Support Group to support individuals in our county treating cancer.
