The Pioneer tracksters headed to state this last weekend in, where they faced opponents from 75 Class C teams. Wendy Taylor, head coach said, "It was a fantastic year with lots of growth and success. Couldn't be prouder of all the hard work and effort from the kids to become the best they could be."

The Pioneers put in a valiant effort and worked hard. There unfortunately were a few scratches in events, but there were several Pioneers in the top 25 in each event. Wylee Snapp placed 7th in the discus with a throw of 141-7. On the girls side, Eva Yeadon had a PR in the javelin throwing a 102-8. Eva also placed in the top 25 in the 300 hurdles (24th) with a time of 52.6. Alex Worral placed in the top 20 in the 800m (15th) with a time of 2:35, and 1600m(18th) with a time of 5:59. Jai and Malaysia Baumann both placed in the top 20 in the triple jump. Jai was 14th place with a jump of 32-8, and Malaysia was 16th with a jump of 32-4.
