Pioneer Parents Team create an Amazon Wish list

Pioneer Parents Team started their efforts to support teachers with an Amazon wish list at https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/91H7IKPCHQRA?ref=wl share. The example of items needed listed were K-Cup coffee pods, stickers for kids papers, colorful writing pens and makers, Dixie Cups Coffee Fillers for crafts, Paper plates for art pictures, paint for projects, Expo Markers, Whiteboard cleaner, paper towels, regular coffee pot, baskets to hold markers, pens, pencils, Clorox Wipes, Wax cubes for incense smell, small heaters, a big bulletin board paper, towel holders, plastic utensils, Microwave shelf, candy for prizes Thank you cards, note cards, post-it notes large and small, dish soap, quart size ziplock bags, gallon size ziplock bags, task card storage, Velcro command strips, 2024 scenery calendar, Donations to purchase an ice machine, Swiffer dust mop, ice packs for kids injuries, and Pliers, not needle nose.

The team is small, but their efforts are enormous. Letters go out to all parents, but the community could also support their efforts. I was told by a school recipient that their efforts impact the teachers and administrative staff in a big way. It’s another way to give back to our community. Teachers often must buy classroom supplies and necessary supplies for students, so any efforts to support the classroom are wonderful.

There was also a donation sheet sent to parents, so giving to the cause works, too. If you don’t have time or effort, you can send a check to the Pioneer Parents Team, and they will do the shopping for needed items. Contact them if you want to donate time, for example, being a reading listener. Contact Pioneer Parents by email at pioneerparentteam@gmail.com or call Rachel Baumgarn at 406-781-8276 or Sarah Sura at 406-799-2294

The next meeting will be on December 12, FE Miley Elementary Library at 4:00.
