If you wonder how to support the County Cancer Support Group you could attend one of the following events. The Cancer Group strives to offer support to all individuals treating cancer and to their families. It seems the number of individuals in our county with a cancer diagnosis has not decreased over time.

---Saturday, March 23 the Dart Tournament sponsored by Natasha Cook at the Palace Bar gives their proceeds to our Cancer Group. This is a wonderful fund raiser for us. You could stop by to purchase a raffle ticket or bid on a gift basket if you don’t play darts. Stop in to see all that is happening.

---Wednesday, April 10 join us at the library at 5:30 for a free dinner and hear a variety of people share about the diverse opportunities in Fort Benton for healthy living. Many of us know some information for healthy living but finding ways to join with others or hear of new ideas can be inspiring.

---Saturday, May 18 is the annual Plant Sale sponsored by the Garden Club with all proceeds going to our Cancer Support Group. Now is a good time to make plans for what you might want to donate. If you clean out your garage and find garden or yard supplies, trellises, pots, tools or other items you don’t have a use for at this time, consider donating them to the Plant Sale. If you end up with too many plant starts or thin some of your perennials, donate these to our sale. We welcome any plant large or small.
