The Big Sandy Pioneers girls and boys basketball teams kicked the 2015-16 campaign off in Chester as part of the annual gathering of teams in the preseason jamboree.
Both teams faced the Power Pirates and Dutton/Brady Diamondbacks over the weekend with neither coming away with a win.
Junior Laurence Allderdice had a superb performance against Power tossing in 20 points.
Sophomore Jaylyn Cline tossed in 19 markers and sophomore Jenna Leader added 14 in the two games.
