The Lady Pioneers have consistently been posting better stats with each contest. This weekend was no exception with the Ladies posting some wins and playing in the Championship bracket at the North Star Tournament. Big Sandy kicked off the tournament against Cascade making them earn every point 25-13 and 26-24. Then Big Sandy posted their first win of the weekend against Sunburst in a 50-39 overall tie-breaker. The overall winner of the Tourney, Roy-Winfried, defeated Big Sandy in the next match bright and early Saturday morning. Big Sandy was victorious in their last match-up against the North Star second team 25-15, 25-23. The teams stats and scores are showing growth as a team with contributions coming from many members of the squad. This is a determined bunch of young ladies with great potential in life and volleyball.

The Ladies take on CJI Thursday at 6 in the newly painted Pioneer gym. CJI will show up hungry for a win after a tough weekend at the Chinook invitational. With cooler temps in the gym you can bet Coach Cline will be pushing the ladies to christen the gym with a home opener win. Then on Friday a sports double-header as Volleyball travels to Hays-Lodgepole and Football plays at home against Box Elder at 7.
