Mariah Sheehy, a 2016 Big Sandy graduate and freshman at Montana State University – Bozeman, auditioned for and was recently selected as a member of The Spirit of the West Marching Band at MSU. Under the direction of Dr. Nathan Stark, The Spirit of the West Marching Band (SOTW), an ensemble of 180 students from more than 40 academic majors, is one of the larger college marching bands in the Pacific Northwest.
