Sunday, August 27 a fire burned several acres of the Bear Paw Mountains on Moses Mountain close to the Ova Sety Summer Place.
The fire started just east of the East Fork Dam on the Rocky Boy Reservation close to the cattle guard by the Dumas summer place. The fire started right next to the Warrick/ Beaver Creek road and spread quickly to Moses Mountain and parts of the Sety summer ranch.
It started at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
By 7am on Monday the fire was reported as contained. Volunteers along with several fire departments worked to get the fire contained quickly due to extreme dry conditions...
