Local Mason Achieves 50 Years of Service

Glenn Ophus just received his 50 year pin for membership and his service and dedication to the Masonic Organization from Treasure Lodge #95 in Big Sandy Montana. Terry Grant, Worshipful Master of Treasure Lodge is shown presenting Glenn his pin and certificate on October 17, 2017. This was exactly 50 years to the day that he had become a Master Mason. Glenn has served 4 times as Master of Treasure Lodge #95 and one year as Grand Chaplain in the Grand Lodge of Montana (state organization). Freemasonry is a secular fraternal organization and not a religion; but any man who wishes to join must profess a belief in a supreme being. Treasure Lodge #95 has been a long time sponsor of the Bikes for Books (grade school), a scholarship for a graduating Senior at the local high school and other various charities throughout the town and state.
