Hi-Line Funeral Services of Montana is located in Havre but specializes in services for the entire Hi-Line and towns southeast of Havre as well.

The company is known for it's friendly and helpful workers who have lived in this area for many years. More than that the organization is well known for its compassionate care for the family who has just lost a loved one.

More about that but brief history of the owner of Hi-Line Funeral Services of Montana, Greg Kirkwood.

Greg came to Montana in 1965 when he was in the Air Force and was stationed at the Glasgow Air Force Base. He is originally from Wichita, Kansas. Greg decided he liked Montana and married, and has been here every since.

He attended college while here and graduated in 1976 with a degree in Mortuary Science. After traveling around he settled down working in Malta for the Adams Funeral Home and bought the Home in 2008 after working there for fourteen years.

He has two children and four grandchildren.

After Marvin Edwards, the funeral home owner in Chinook, died, Greg became the licensed Mortician for the Edwards Funeral Home and eventually he and Cherie Edwards started the Hi-Line Funeral Services of Montana.

Their chapel is in Havre on Fifth Avenue across from Head Start and they proudly serve this entire area of Montana.

Bill Cronin is a licensed mortician who has been associated with the funeral business in Havre and vicinity for many years. His compassion and kindness with people in time of need is well known.

Tim Harron, coming from one of the oldest families in this area works for the Hi-Line organization as well and their office manager is Angie Simpson.

When explaining the Hi-Line Funeral Services of Montana, Greg Kirkwood said, "We are known for our competitive rates and our professionalism in the funeral industry. We serve not just Chouteau County but the whole Hi-Line area. Our chapel holds 115 people and we specialize in pre-arrangements."

Greg went on to say that pre-arrangements can also be transferred from other funeral homes if need be.

"I think there is a need for more than one funeral home in this area", Greg continued. "And competition can only be better for everyone.

Hi-Line Funeral Services of Montana facility is completely handicapped accessible to make it easier on family members during their time of need.
