HCE Donates to Local Food Banks and Volunteer Fire Departments

Hill County Electric Cooperative (HCE) is committed to the communities and members that we serve. Recently, the HCE Board approved a donation for four local food banks and 17 local volunteer fire departments. HCE appreciates the services these organizations provide to our members.

The local food banks receiving donations are the Chinook Food Pantry, North Havre Community Services, Loaves & Fishes Inc. in Chester, and the Big Sandy Food Bank. The following volunteer fire departments each received a donation: Big Sandy, Box Elder, Chester, Chinook, Lloyd, South Blaine, Elim, Gildford, Bear Paw, St. Joe, Wildhorse, Hingham, Inverness, Joplin, Kremlin, Loma and Rudyard.

Hill County Electric Cooperative (HCE) was incorporated in 1945 and provides high quality, reliable and safe electric services and associated products to 2,352 members and over 3,114 miles of line in five north-central Montana counties. HCE is headquartered in Havre, MT and provides Master Electrician services, an electrical supply warehouse, electrical safety demonstrations and various scholarship and youth programs.
