The Big Sandy Mountaineer -

Once again the community of Big Sandy and surrounding areas supported the annual fund-raiser of the Big Sandy Medical Guild which was recently held on October 4-5 2018. A record high of nearly $10,000.00 was raised through the generous support of those who donated rummage items and pies, purchased rummage items, pie and coffee, raffle tickets, as well as made monetary donations. The Guild would also like to thank a gentleman from Havre who so graciously donated bags of apples that were sold during the rummage sale.

Each year volunteers of the Guild and in the community spend countless hours preparing for the rummage sale, working during the sale, cleaning up following the completion of the rummage sale, and delivering unsold items to other charitable organizations. The Guild would like to thank all of the many volunteers involved this year.

All rummage sale proceeds are used to purchase items that will benefit the residents and patients of the Big Sandy Medical Center. Our next meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 1pm. At this meeting decisions will be made determining which items will be purchased this year. New members are welcome to the Guild at any time!
