Big Sandy Music Department Selling Chocolate

November 14, 2018

It’s that time of year again. As the snow is starting to fall and the winter holidays are coming up, the Big Sandy music program is beginning their favorite fundraiser. The world’s finest chocolates sales are a delicious fundraiser with many different selections. Every year the students have sold hundreds of dollars in chocolate to raise money for the music program. This year they all hope to raise lots of money and sell lots of chocolates.

There are many selections from chocolate covered almonds, peanut butter bears, chocolate clusters, caramel whirls, and mint meltaways. All these choices are delightful and just melt in your mouth. These chocolates are great for Christmas gifts, holiday treats around the house, or for just yourself.

The chocolates range from the pricing of seven dollars to six dollars. There are also caramel, crisp, and almond candy bars for one dollar. The students are expected to sale at least one hundred dollars which altogether will add up to four thousand dollars. If they reach this goal, then the music program will obtain two thousand dollars for the music program.

The music program is developing more and more each day. This year with the new improvements such as the Halloween concert or the marimba, the students are enjoying the class even more. Everyone is very excited about the Christmas concert coming this December, the veteran’s concert on Memorial Day, and the music festival this spring. As Mrs. Amanda Robertson the amazing band and choir director, is now pregnant, she is working extra hard to make sure everything is in order before her due date. The fundraiser is going on now until November fifteenth. Hopefully, all the students will sell their goal and raise a good amount of money for the program!
