    Last Tuesday at the Big Sandy High School, Pat Goldhahn gave a heartfelt speech to the students and staff. Pat is the husband of Wendi Goldhahn and the father of Lauryn and Allix Goldhahn. They live in Fairfield, Montana. Lauryn tragically passed away in a brutal car wreck three years ago and Pat now goes to different schools to tell his daughters story and his hope for other children.     This spring everyone needs to keep their evening of March 27th free. The Big Sandy junior class will be hosting this year’s annual adult prom. The adult prom will be held on Friday, March 27th, in the high school gymnasium. The dance will start at 8:00pm and end at 12:00am. Under the direction of Mrs. Amanda Robertson, Big Sandy’s past music director, the Big Sandy band and choir became noticeable and started to shine in bright lights.     This Friday, October 25th, the Big Sandy volleyball team will be having their last home game of the season. Tradition will follow through and the team members will be announced and give flowers to their loved ones and supporters.     Last year Audrey Sipler, a Big Sandy High School student, organized and taught a children's dance class. Audrey was nervous at first because she wasn't sure how many kids were going to enter the class. Lucky for her though, she ended up with plenty of adorable kids.     This summer, the Big Sandy volleyball team has been working hard in the gym. A schedule for different sports has been organized to allow every sports team to get time in the gym during the summer. The volleyball girls go in the evening, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.     This summer the Jeff Memorial Big Sandy Library, is full of summer reading programs for kids and adults of all ages! The programs started on June 11th and will end August 2nd, but everyone is still encouraged to join! Every Wednesday at 10:30 am the library holds Pre-K storytime and crafts. On Thursdays at 1:00 pm storytime is held for kindergarten through sixth grade. Children are encouraged to attend weekly but it's not mandatory.     This last Thursday, February 28th, Big Sandy High School was put under lock-down for two hours. The students at BSHS have been through plenty of fire, earthquake, and shooting threat drills throughout the years for preparation.
