This spring everyone needs to keep their evening of March 27th free. The Big Sandy junior class will be hosting this year’s annual adult prom. The adult prom will be held on Friday, March 27th, in the high school gymnasium. The dance will start at 8:00pm and end at 12:00am. There will be kids from the junior class serving the delicious drinks and snacks made specifically for the dance. There will be cupcakes, brownies, a meat and cheese tray, a fruit tray, punch, and water for the evening.

The theme for this year’s prom is medieval and the junior class has many ideas for the decorations. There will be knights on the walls, banners, melted fake candles, and a homemade dragon made by the art participants in the junior class. The kids are excited to make the decorations and put them up around the gym. The dress is formal. Everyone should dress up and feel wonderful for the night. Adult prom is a perfect opportunity to have a night to yourself with your partner or come as a single and enjoy time dancing and eating.

The junior class would also appreciate the support by buying tickets or donating money. The tickets will be sold at local businesses around Big Sandy. These businesses include the Big Sandy Pharmacy, the Grocery Store, and possibly the Bear Paw Coffee Shop and Deli. The couples ticket price is $35 and the singles ticket price is $20. So, please come and support the junior class and enjoy an amazing night!
