Holiday greetings from the Big Sandy Medical Services Foundation. You may have noticed we have not sent our annual fall fund raising letter. Due to the craziness of 2020 – especially the tragedy of Covid-19 – we have chosen this means of notifying you of our need for your support.

Big Sandy Medical Center has always put the health and safety of their patients, residents, and employees as their main priority. With the challenges created by this devastating pandemic virus there are many new and changing restrictions imposed on healthcare facilities, most of which are costly but necessary.

This last year has proven that our small facility is more important than ever after watching what is happening in larger facilities, some right here in Montana. You or someone you know has probably had to use some of the many services offered at BSMC, whether as a clinic patient, an outpatient, inpatient, or nursing home resident.

When you are considering your tax-deductible donations for 2020 please keep BSMS Foundation on your list. Funds received are used to offer scholarships to Big Sandy High School graduates who have chosen a career in a medical field and to help BSMC with any equipment needs or projects they might have.

Since its organization in 1989 ninety-nine scholarships totaling $33,100 have been awarded to BSHS graduates and BSMC has been able to purchase needed equipment and complete projects thanks to your $228,440.44 in donations.
