Christmas Stories

December 30, 2020

“Twas the day before break, when all through the halls,

All the students were anxiously climbing the walls;

The lockers were open- kids combing their hair,

In hopes that some snowflakes would soon fill the air;

Kids were excited to sleep late in their beds,

While visions of carefree days danced in their heads:

With people in the office and I in my class,

We just settled down and let our brains rest at last,

When outside the room there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter…..

By Elaina Weaver

I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter.

When out in the hall the science room rose such a clatter.

So I ran to see what was the matter.

When from the corner of my peeper I saw a Jolly leaper.

That was wearing a white elephant type shaw.

With a titter He said ho-ho and disappeared.

At that moment I ported to class when the math mistress

ceased me from walking back to class

I said excuse me mistress But I really need to get to class.

She passed me with a smirk and a jerk so I walked into class.

The math Mister was the man,

the Jolly old leaper

then suddenly everything disappeared

and I realized that it was all a vision.

When outside the room there arose such a clatter.

I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter.

It sounded like something so crazy and horrible.

Then turned out to be really adorable.

It was a baby reindeer so comfy and cute.

But it looked like it was stuck in a chute.

As I ran through the hall looking for help,

I heard the baby reindeer yelp.

I then went back to see what was the matter.

I soon found out it was on a silver platter.

The reindeer was saved and happy too.

Then stayed with us as a class pet,ooo

We had a fun time. I hope to see him again.

but Santa Claus came and took him back again.

Dear Santa,

I write to you for an important question. I would like to be Head Elf at the North Pole and help you will all your needs. I have some reasons. 1. I love all of the jobs that are at the North Pole. 2. I am very good at keeping things organized. There are plenty more reasons, but I don’t want to keep you too long. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Sincerely,

Harley LaBuda

I walked out and saw a shatter

The window looked like it had been battered

There could be a robber among us

This man is possibly dangerous

I went to the office and to my surprise there was the man wearing a disquise.

I saw the man with my own two eyes

The man was wearing a nametag that said: hi my name is potter

He sorta had a slobber

I ran to the phone and called 911

He sprawled toward me with a frying pan.

But the police got here with a ran

By Quinn Rodwald

I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter,

And when I arose my toes went closed ,

And my head went red

Because when I looked up

I saw Jaxon and Paxton at the door, he was hurt and he blurted out a shout

So I walked to the window and everything went awry

Outside I saw a big hairy monster

Oh I know this is a winter story so he was a white abominable snowman

He was throwing his icey, dicey snowman arms

So I ran out of my tan classroom, where his arm was reaching in

Then my scream was extreme.

My peers were lime as a pickle

So I grabbed a snowball out of my backpack and though of running.

I got out of the front and saw the grim beast and through “Sling”

Then he started running and I never saw him again.

By Bailey Heppner

I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter.

There was the old grinch standing there.

He looked mean and grumpy.

I was so shocked and confused.

I went back to my classroom when I saw him staring at me.

I run for help not a person in sight.

I saw a weird light it was stirring around.

It went by like a flash as if it was a crash.

He was gone in a blink of an eye.

When I saw Mount Crumpit it was such a sight as it was so high.

The air was so flakey as the snow fell in a rush to catch up with the beautiful sight.

By Samantha Bjornestad

I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter

I was in such a rush I hit a big ladder

I fell to the floor with such a big cladder

And next thing I knew I was back in my classroom

I opened my eyes wider and wider and next to me was a big spider

I jumped up with such fear that I evening shedded a tear

A run down the hallway faster and faster but the spider was way faster

I trip and i fell and I went down well

So the spider got me and started to smack me

I moved and i wiggle so the spider stopped

He let me go in such peace and now I feel like a beast

It was a nice one he just wanted some friends

So i went back to my classroom to talk to him

We talked and talked until I had to go on a walk but I said goodbye with a tear on my eye

Dear Santa,

I would like to be a reindeer feeder. I sounds like lots of fun. I like animals. They are cute. They are also very cool and strong. I think that they are awesome. That is why I would like the job as the reindeer feeder.

Sincerely, Owen Allderdice

Dear Santa,

I would like to run the tests on the sleigh because I like to fly. I would also like to plow snow because I like to push stuff with the skidsteer or tractor. I might have to have a hot, hot coat if I move up there. Thank you for your time. Hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

Jayton Ophus

Dear Santa

I would like to have a job, to be one of your elfs, please. I want to be a person that helps you around your house or the North Pole. I will be so thankful if I could be your servant. If I was your servant I would be the best. I will do my best to be the best servant. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Sincerely your friend,

Tristan Torres

Dear Santa,

Hi Santa, I want a job at the North Pole. I want the job to be wrapping presents, because I am good at it and it is easy for me. Wrapping presents takes a little practice, because you can mess up easily. I like it because I get to see the present that people are going to get. I think that is pretty cool. I have great wrapping present skills. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Thank You.

Sincerely

Eyon Sherburn
