Barracudas Place Second in Cut Bank

Coach Travis with the Senior Boys realy, Kade Strutz, Dillin Geyer, Cam Schwarzbach, and Brady Pleninger, its an end of a era, these boys have been breaking recoards individually and as a relay team for years, they hold several pool and federation records as a relay team. This past weekend they swam their last relay together.

The Big Sandy Swim Team placed second at the Cut Bank Swim Meet. This weekend marked the final time the senior boys relay team swam and won together. This phenomenal foursome has been a dominant force in the swim federation. They hold several individual and relay pool and federation records and their relay team has been almost undefeated over the last six years. Backstroker Brady Pleninger will be leaving soon for military training, while breastroker Kade Strutz, who drove hundreds of miles from Bozeman to Cut Bank to swim this final race, is focusing this summer on football. Butterfly expert Dillin Geyer will swim with the team until he leaves for the military, while freestyler Cam Schwarzbach will finish the season and continue his swimming career next year at the College of Idaho.

Earning high point honors were T-Gan Ketchum (2nd, 8-U boys), Astrid Ketchum (4th, 9-10 girls) Mackenzie Werk (5th, 9-10 girls), Henry Merrill (3rd, 9-10 boys), Harley Labuda (3rd, 11-12 girls) and Jai Baumann (2nd, 13-14 girls). Senior division swimmers earning high point honors were Brady Pleninger (1st), Cam Schwarzbach (3rd), Dillin Geyer (4th), Daisy LaBuda (4th) and Caydence Pleninger (6th).
