The Big Sandy Mountaineer -

New Pool Update: Now would be a good time to give! We have applied to the Montana Land and Water Conservation Fund for a recreation grant for the proposed new pool. If approved by the National Park Service, we could receive a matching grant up to $350,000. We have already raised about $320,000 from other grants and individual donations, so we need about $30,000 more to take full advantage of the match. We need to submit our application by March 11th. There is a lot of money at stake in this marching grant, and we do not want to leave any money on the table, so to speak. Therefore, if you have been considering a gift to the new pool project, now would be a good time to give. Just make your check out to the Town of Big Sandy, and, in the Memo space at the bottom, write, New Pool Fund. Your gift is tax deductible under IRS Code because it will be placed in a municipal trust account to be used solely for a not-for-profit purpose. Then, send you check to Town of Big Sandy, P. O.
