With only 23 swimmers, the Barracudas scored an impressive 426 combined points, resulting in a fifth place finish out of ten teams over the weekend of July 16&17.

Mackenzie Werk swam like she was on fire, leading the way for the Barracudas with 42 points after making a first place sweep in all three of her individual events- the 100m IM, 50m free, and 100m free, earning herself first place high point honors in the Girls 9-10 Division.

Senior swimmer Daisy LaBuda dominated the lanes, posting 40 points by capturing first place in both the 50m free and 100m free, and receiving second in the 50m fly, earning herself first place high point honors in the Girls 15-19 Division.

D'Aree Sunchild also had a stellar weekend in the pool, scoring 40 points by swimming away with first place finishes in the 25m free and the 50m free, taking second in the 25m back and contributing to a first place finish in the girls 8&U 100m free relay, earning herself first place high point honors in the Girls 8&U Division.

Astrid Ketchum and Harley LaBuda both made a big contribution to the team with 36 points each, as did the Sunchild brothers Darrell and Dolan with 27 and 22 points, respectively. Girls 8&U swimmer Dorothea Merrill also made some waves in Conrad, conquering her first in-meet "no breather" in the 25m free and racking up 25 points for the Barracudas. Butler sisters Cassia, Sienna, and Lila also proved to be strong contenders in their divisions, scoring 21, 17, and 15 points. Other notable performances over the weekend included T'Gan Ketchum with 16 points, Levon Myers with 11, Daijalin Sunchild with 10, Joseph Demontiney with 8, and sisters Raea and Eden Pansch with 3 and 1 point to tally it up to 426.
