    Barracudas invade Gator Waters The Barracudas scored 311 points leading them to a 7th place finish in Fort Benton July 15&16. Although they were missing a few of their usual top scorers, there were 25 little fish that attended day one of the meet. MacKenzie Werk proved she is a force to be reckoned with, putting up 32.     It was an especially exciting meet in Harlem for a handful of Barracudas July 1&2, beginning with eight year old Ruthie Boyce who made her debut on the blocks. She gave it her all with some guidance from Harley LaBuda in the 25m and 50m freestyle, as well as the 25m backstroke.     The Barracudas were down but not out in the absence of Jai Baumann, a strong competitor in the girls 13-14 age group, who was unable to attend the state meet due to illness. The team rallied together to score 191 combined points, earning themselves a very respectable second place finish in Class B.     The Barracudas scored 484 points in Hamilton over the weekend of July 30th & 31st, earning themselves a fifth place finish and putting them in the “B” Class for the State Swim Meet in Lewistown next weekend.     With only a dozen swimmers competing, the Barracudas were small in numbers but big in heart as they tallied up 299 points for their fifth place finish in Columbia Falls.     The Big Sandy Swim Team took third place honors at the Chester Invitational Swim Meet, held on June 25th & 26th. The Barracudas scored 448 points to earn their third place finish.
