The Big Sandy Mountaineer -

Harvest Festival 2022 will be an afternoon of fun, food, and entertainment for all ages. Starting right at 1 pm you’ll recognize the carnival games for the kiddos and a new bounce house! Jim Dumas’ Blue-Ribbon Cheddar Brats will be served (polish dogs and hot dogs will also be available) along with fresh fries, baked beans, coleslaw, fry bread, cinnamon rolls and pie.

Cotton candy will be available until sold out and Trailer Park Taps will be on site with your libations until 10 pm. Bingo will start at two and after many requests last year, we’ve extended play to three hours, wrapping up at five. That gives you lots of opportunities to bring home cash prizes! 3 ‘o’clock will mark the start of the cornhole tournament. There will again be a Calcutta- your chance to win cash and never toss a single bag! The winner of the tournament and the Calcutta will receive 50% of their respective pots. Last year’s tournament winner received $425 and the Calcutta winner took home over $700!

Finally, we’ll welcome The Bent Willows to the stage for a street dance at 7 pm. Get out those dancing shoes and come cut a rug under the stars!

We have been overwhelmed with sponsors again this year and are grateful for each and every one. Without you, this event would not be as successful as we anticipate. We’re so excited to gather our community again to celebrate another successful harvest, our neighbors, friends, and community and of course, help support the Big Sandy Pool Project.
