Big Sandy's Chili Feed/Homecoming took place last Friday, September 30th, though Big Sandy Schools began a week early with their traditional Spirit Week activities. Spirit Week typically includes various days for the students to wear costumes or themed outfits to school.

At FE Miley Elementary School, this year saw the return of a newer tradition: the building of class floats for the parade across town.
