Pioneers split the weekend; coming up short to Chinook 40-71, and claiming the win from Hays/Lodgepole 67-58

The Lady Pioneers started off strong with aggressive defense and hustle with attacks to the basket winning 67-58. The Hays Thunderbirds did a great job on offensive rebounding but couldn't put back their second chance shots. Eva Yeadon and Eva Wagoner both had a great first quarter attacking the basket, and knocking down three pointers, as well as getting some great steals. Hayes got a three-point basket at the end of the first quarter down by nine points with a score of 18 to 7.
The second quarter started with a technical foul from the Hays team. Big Sandy struggled in the second quarter...
