The Big Sandy Mountaineer -

Congratulations to Eva Yeadon for being selected as the Montana High School Association player of the week. (Dec. 25 - Dec. 31) Eva scored 64 points in 2 games. In the Chester game she was 4-5 shooting 80% from the 3 point line and 14-20 (70%) from the field with a FG% of 74%. Eva had 34 points leading the lady pioneers to a big win over the undefeated CJl Hawks. Eva is a Junior at Big Sandy High School and is averaging 27.5 points per game after six games. Eva has been a tremendous leader for the Lady Pioneers since she was a freshman when she moved to Big Sandy helping pull them out of a 3 year long losing streak of not winning a single game for 3 years. Since becoming a Lady pioneer they continue to get better and currently are 5-1.
