The Big Sandy Mountaineer -

Every month we meet at the Jerry Martin Memorial Hall for our 4-H meeting. This month had a lot of information as several kids gave talks and demonstration. We also made Valentines Day cards to be given to the Big Sandy Medical Center residents.

Chaz Danreuther did a talk on Woodworking tools. Oakley Jacobi did a demonstration on how to wind a bobbin and thread a sewing machine. Wren Danreuther gave a talk on the Horse Digestive System. Jayton Ophus did a talk on Goat kidding. Antonio Fabrizio did a demonstration on how to use woodworking tools. Parker Yirsa did a demonstration on the Kratky Hydroponics Lettuce Garden, which was really cool. Paxton Yirsa did a demonstration on How to make an eggshell garden.

We will also being doing a club fundraiser called "Egg My Yard" for Easter for anyone interested. Order pre-filled eggs that will be hidden in your yard the night before Easter along with a special note from the Easter bunny. The cost will be 25 eggs for $25, 50 eggs for $45 and 75 eggs for $60.
