Last Friday, the Town of Big Sandy received news from the Montana Fish and Game Department, Land and Water Conservation Fund that Big Sandy had been awarded an additional $500,000 from the National Park Service. Over a year ago, Big Sandy had been awarded $615,000 from the same source. However, at the time, the costs of a new pool began to skyrocket along with construction costs throughout the nation.
